Support Gaza with a gesture of peace
A day of fundraising dedicated to supporting civilian victims of the conflict in Palestine, to be allocated to DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, an independent and authoritative organization, active for years in territories affected by wars and humanitarian crises.
The idea is simple: next July 19, each participating ice cream shop will offer a watermelon flavor (in ice cream, granita or both), a fruit that has become a peaceful symbol of resistance and hope for the Palestinian people. The proceeds from the sale of that specific flavor will be donated to medical care for civilians.
We have created a dedicated website (ungelatoperlapace.it) which will contain information on how to participate, and soon also directions for donors and a map of participating ice cream shops.
As for the event in favor of Ukraine, we will provide those who will participate, if necessary:
- The recipe for watermelon sorbet and granita (easily replicable with common ingredients)
- Poster to display in the store
- Social media material
- Press release that can be sent to the local press
All the material will be downloadable in a few days from the site.
